What a great way to start a Friday!
The Moms of our kindergarten students were invited to Muffins With Moms on Friday, March 30th to enjoy a muffin with their child and listen to him/her read. At the end of the celebration, a chorus of kindergarteners gathered in a row in the front of the cafeteria to read a version of If You Give a Mom a Muffin.
Moms were impressed at how their child is reading at the beginning of the fourth quarter of kindergarten. This is a true testimony to the new Jolly Phonics Program and quality instruction by Mrs. Nosbisch, Mrs. Ries, Mrs. Rowan, Mrs. Throndson, and Mrs. Smith.
I want to thank the parents for coming this morning. Some grandparents also came and we were so glad to get them here! So was their grandchild.
