Pre-Carnival Skating Party

During two after school sessions, K - 4 students are invited to a pre-carnival skating party. The purpose of the skating party is to bring students together in a somewhat structured, social situation just to have a good time. Another purpose for the skating events is to add to the funds that the Carnival takes in each year.

Teachers organize these events and do all of the volunteer work to prepare the snacks, sell them, and supervise the skating time. As you can see above, students do some snacking as well as some skating.
